We never did try to re-activate Clerk's logs. We reformatted his OS, made the corrections, and sent a copy of those files back to our distributor. The ' X-C Clerk' is still everything we hoped it would be. It's more personable and more well received than the overgrown A-T-M machines that most stores were using before.

Ken said he was going to do an extensive follow-up on the 'Clerk' experiment, but after our OS hit the markets, we were all too busy servicing the product to give the idea any more serious attention. But he still has an unlabeled CD that he keeps on his desk. Sometimes I'll come in to talk to him and see him staring at it. I haven't asked him about it yet.
